The Toro lightshade draws its essence from the traditional Japanese stone and bronze Toro lanterns. Embracing the elemental representation and spiritual significance, our lightshade honors the timeless elegance and cultural depth of these Japanese artifacts.

Traditional rice paper has been incorporated into the Toro shade to gently diffuse light, combined with the rich carbonised bamboo, adding warmth and ambience to any space.

We utilize 3mm bamboo for the form pieces and 4mm birch plywood for the structural rings. Our commitment to eco-friendly materials ensures a responsible choice without compromising on strength and stability. With the combination of bamboo's natural beauty and the structural integrity of birch plywood, we provide you with a versatile and reliable product that will stand the test of time.
