The Hinaki lightshade is Inspired by traditional New Zealand weaving patterns. The Maori used these intricate patterns when making their fishing nets "Hinaki", commonly used for eel fishing.

This shade encapsulates heritage and innovation. Pairing the translucence of acrylic with bamboo's warmth, this shade harmonizes contrasting materials. Each intersecting line and texture honor Maori craftsmanship, casting an illuminating narrative through its shadows that weaves culture into contemporary design.

We utilize 10mm bamboo and 10mm acrylic for the sections. 6mm dowel is used to connect all the pieces together, uniting the fixture. Our commitment to eco-friendly materials ensures a responsible choice without compromising on strength and stability. With the combination of bamboo's natural beauty and the structural integrity of birch plywood, we provide you with a versatile and reliable product that will stand the test of time.
